Saturday night's 30th Anniversary reunion gig by gospel-rock-reggae band The Victors 8 May 2010

Support acts were the excellent Passion Singers and, also marking a 30th anniversary (the release of the album
Out of the Harbour) Tom Morton and Graeme Duffin.

Graeme and Tom hadn't played together for 28 years at least. They met for a brief rehearsal (with Tom's son James on bass)
last Friday. Although Graeme's daughter Esther (O'Connor) has been a guest several times on the Tom Morton Show
(BBC Scotland) and also used to be in the band Ashton Lane with another of Tom's sons.

Brennans Late Lounge - Perth Scotland 8th May 2009

JJ is touring around the UK playing some old and some new trax from his albums,

Graeme played accoustic guitar and did backingvocals and Phil Kane was on Keyboard.

Graeme told me about this gig and, as I was coming to Scotland with my friend, if we wanted to come and see them.
I asked a few of my friends, who were staying with us at our hotel, if they wanted to join
us and they were delighted too.

We all had a fabulous night, JJ's music and lyrics are brilliant and it was great to finally see him and hear his
songs live.
The Banter between songs were sometimes Hilarious, the atmosphere in the totally filled up pub
was wonderfull,
everyone was clapping and singing along.

BIG thanks to JJ for making this such a wonderful night, also thanks to both guys for the chat, the wine and signing my CD :)
I would love to come over to see you again JJ, you're amazing.

JJ Gilmour has a brand new fantastic album out which was produced by Graeme Duffin and Sandy Jones
and recorded at the Foundry Music Lab. Its called "The Boy Who Didn't Fall".

Cato Tjålands first "real" concert was a great success.
An audience of 400 came at Hall Toll in Stavanger Friday night.
Far more than I had expected. Amazingly fun, said Cato Tjåland.

Ole Iversen from Eigersund played bagpipe and had the honor to introduce the Scottish guests. Both Derek Forbes of Simple Minds and Graeme Duffin from Wet Wet Wet had made the trip to Stavanger to play with Tjåland.  As did Esther O'Connor, she is also from Scotland. Also Lise Olden and Audun Eggen played at this gig.

Cato Tjåland ended the evening to perform 10 songs from his upcoming debut album, "A new day."

The album will be released 27th April. In this connection there will be a release-concert at Backstage in Stavanger Thursday 23. April.

Tjåland is from Eigersund, but now lives in Stavanger.

A few tracks  from the album can be heard on his MySpace page: myspace.com/catomusic1
